TOUR ITINERARY

We depart your pick-up location and travel along the Great Western Highway, following the route of the first European Explorers, Gregory Blaxland, William Charles Wentworth and William Lawson, and the route of the first road across the Blue Mountains, built by 28 convicts under the direction of Lt William Cox JP in 1814-15, as we gradually climb to Katoomba.

Our first stop is ECHO POINT, the second most visited place in NSW (The Sydney Opera House is the most visited) and home to the famous Three Sisters. We'll spend some time here where you can take in the stunning views, relax with a coffee in the park or stroll down the 30 minute return walk to literally touch the Three Sisters.

Next, it's on to LEURA VILLAGE where there is some time for window shopping and lunch at your own choice and cost. There are many boutique shops here and a huge variety of cafes, restaurants and take-away shops to purchase lunch. You may even like to visit Bygone Beautys, home to the Treasured teapot Museum, the largest privately owned teapot collection in the world! They do a great Devonshire Tea!

From Leura we head to SCENIC WORLD for those who have chosen to experience the thrill of the Scenic Railway, the steepest public passenger train in the world! The Scenic Skyway, the highest single-span cable car in the world, the Scenic Walkway, the longest boardwalk in Australia and the Scenic Cableway, the largest and steepest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere.  Please note there is an extra cost to add Scenic World and you must book the required number of tickets at your time of booking this tour. Scenic World is CLOSED ON TUESDAYS.

SCENIC WORLD TICKET PRICES

ADULT | $49.00 (16 years and over)

CHILD | $27.90 (3-15 Years)

For those choosing not to ride the Scenic World attractions, there is a cafe with great views or some short walking options close by.

After Scenic World we will cruise the cliff tops, stopping at NARROW NECK LOOKOUT for some photographs and maybe even spot the elusive Superb Lyrebird, which can often be seen scratching around for food here. Next it is CAHILL'S LOOKOUT, just around the corner. There's an opportunity to take the short walk down to the lookout or relax at the picnic tables with a superb view over the Megalong Valley and Great Dividing Range.

We depart Cahill's Lookout and start heading for home after a wonderful day of exploring in the Blue Mountains. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as your Driver/Guide returns you safely to your destination. This tour is a fantastic experience and one that you will not forget!
